ok this was a great story, you know i love a strong female protagonist and this had tons of empowered women empowering women, and a couple shitty dudes got theirs, so yeah. love that.
i do need to say that if you pick this up because of a fantastical title and fun cover, you are not about to read the story you think you are. is all. it’s still a good story!!!! a great one. but it is not about carnival hijinks so much as righting social wrongs in the setting of a carnival. and the hijinks are more like…….really important situations.
