I cried, then laughed, then cried some more.

This book was so amazing! The FMC is really funny, although I don't really get some of the jokes. Must have been because of demographic difference. Her whole story was so heart-breaking, too, and I can't help but tear up when reading several scenes. The secrets and plot-twsits were also exceptional. The cliffhanger at the end, straight-up criminal. Thank goodness the trilogy is already completed and I can read the next book right away.

Anyway, the pacing was nice. The plot advances smoothly while putting enough emphasis to characted dynamics and such. This book is definitely recommended if you're into:

• Angels
• Mixed fantasy (although this book is set majority on another realm)
• Fated mates
• Bully-to-lovers trope
• Forbidden romance trope
• Belittled FMC but with a strong spirit
• Hilarious FMC
• Ride or die best friend
• Heartbreaking story with a humorous tone

Just a heads-up that this book has low-heat level. There are possibly 4 men in the harem. Lastly, check the TWs. There's only a few but there were hinted flashbacks of child SA.
