I did like this second book more than the first one, the tension between Evie and The Villain...
The rest of the characters we're all so lovely, I do wonder who is the one betraying them inside the Manor...
The ending thought... makes me worried the author is trying to make this into a trilogy when it could have been a duology. The writing is so fast, and a lot of things happen in both of the books, I think if you fitted 100 pages more to each book we could have the story done now.
Any way, we will be buying because I need them to finally accept to each other that THEY. ARE. IN. LOVE.
