Hallowe'en Party by Agatha Christie

3.0

Moving away from orientalism to disparaging the youth culture of the post-war period, Christie can do it all. 3 stars because I appreciated the Halloween-themed murder mystery for the season.

Updated 2023: my disappointment when I bought a Haunting in Venice thinking it was a different book just to find its a reskin of Halloween Party - at least put it on the cover somewhere. I’m surprised more people aren’t annoyed by this (the Christie readers will rise up).
