Bride by Ali Hazelwood

4.0

i read this impulsively and surprisingly, do not regret it. i am hysterical as im making this because i felt the familiar brainrot of reading werewolf wattpad stories back in the day as i was going through this — and have experienced the same thing as i did back in the day: forcing myself to sleep hence going to sleep at 4 in the morning & the delight of trashy romance.

my guilty pleasure is ali hazelwood’s novels because her romance writing just itches this part of my brain yet my goal is to read more mind-expanding books that challenge my vocabulary. but i do love indulging! this book had simple world building and juggled elements of mystery and romance well. i did have a jump scare near the end because i should’ve known ali hazelwood would go there (
