Honestly? I was really bored reading this (which explains why it took me so long to read). There just wasn't enough excitement or enough happening to keep me interested. Also, there were too many POV's. I kept getting confused about which character was which (they were way too similar, especially the women), and the only one who had a remotely interesting story was Eyas, and that's mainly because she helped you learn more about Exodans and their way of life.
Not a lot really happened in this book, and it honestly isn't that memorable. I enjoyed learning about Exodan life, but feel like this should have been a short story following half the amount of characters.
I will still read the fourth book in this series and anything else Becky Chambers releases (I've heard good things about her novellas which I am very excited to read).
