Annie desperately needs some help if she’s ever going to date and find love. Her dates always tank spectacularly. Will hesitates because he recognises the danger of getting close to her, but jealousy prompts him to accept because he can’t stand the thought of anyone else being with her.

Annie thinks he’ll be perfect because there’s no way they could be together. Will would never want to be with a girl like her, right?

I loved this story but there were a few instances that left me unsatisfied. I hoped for a better tie-in for the pics and the closed-door was disappointing after some very steamy lead up. Despite these, I couldn’t put it down and still recommend it.

📌 What stood out
» Mabel is the found-family auntie we all need. She’s a world-class meddler but she’s exactly what Will and Annie need individually at exactly the right moment.

» Will brings out Annie’s sass; she can banter and tease with Will in a way that is unprecedented for her.

» Annie thinks she and her sisters have nothing in common and it’s a heartwarming surprise to see how they bond at Amelia’s bachelorette party.

📌 Moments
» Will teaches Annie the art of seduction by touching only her hands in his Golden Girl room. 🌶️

» Will hears Annie is sick and goes full Florence Nightingale to care for her. 🤒❤️

» Annie returns the favour when he needs it. ❤️

Honourable mention for the dedication:
“This one is for the softies. The tenderhearted sweeties. The introverts who are afraid to shine.” ❤️
