Man, I love this series. I am so so glad that I picked it up.
I thought that the pairing of the siblings as the Upper Moon 6 spot was fucking awesome. Especially when it was revealed that Daki was not the only Kizuki present.
I thought that the reveal of Gyutaro was fantastic, especially because of how much of a struggle the gang had while fighting just Daki alone.
I loved the dichotomy of Daki and Gyutaro with him being the protective older brother, and she being the entitled little sister. I thought that this was a great pairing.
The way that the two worked together to produce startlingly volatile results was stunning, and I think that this volume had some of the coolest artwork yet. There were several instances where I just paused to take in the imagery throughout.
Man, I love Tengen, as well. He is no Rengoku, but, who is?? I also appreciate how all of the Pillars are getting time to shine throughout this series, rather than just being characters who we hear are extra strong, they actually are, and their prowess is put on full display.
