Fall I Want by Lyra Parish

5.0

It must be almost Gilmore Girls season... err... fall. This book took me right into the season with its vivid descriptions of the area and the changing colors. Then we have the aptly named Autumn Travis who lived for all things fall. She worked with her two best friends as a barista while waiting for her time to shine as the next bestselling author. Except she can't write. Enter one Zane Alexander. Their first meeting was anything but friendly. He basically called her espresso crap (BIG LIE). Even while the animosity was at an all time high, the connection they felt to each other was something they couldn't explain or ignore. For Autumn, Zane was her real life Mr. Dreamy, a man she dreamed about in great detail right down to his mannerisms. For Zane, he felt like he knew her at more than surface level. And while Zane forced friendship on Autumn which turned into a fake relationship to stave off her ex, their relationship went deep. This book was more than just about two people who fall in love. It's about being open to new experiences, finding courage, believing in oneself, and forgiveness.

I received an advance copy of this book at my request and voluntarily left this review.
