I can say without a doubt that this book holds a special place in my heart. The writing style was simple yet so meaningful. The quotes from this book are phenomenal and I love the characters with my whole heart. It has such an informative context behind it as well, making it even better. Unfortunatelty, I did not cry and I'm not entirely sure why because there were definitely some heavy topics. Do check the trigger warnings.

I love how Colleen Hoover encompassed the entire process of an abusive relationship and how it unfolds. As someone who has not been in one myself, I was still able to go through the emotions and feelings of our main character Lily. I also loved Alyssa and Marshall ontop of the main couple, a little disappointed with the lack of Atlas but I understand the reasoning behind it. I was a little uncomfortable with Atlas being 18 and Lily being 15-16 in the past but I decided to not let that affect my rating.Graphic: Child abuse, Gaslighting, Grief, Violence, Adult/minor relationship, Child death, Cursing, Death, Death of parent, Domestic abuse, Emotional abuse, Blood, Bullying, Mental illness, Panic attacks/disorders, Physical abuse, Pregnancy, Sexual assault, Suicide attempt, Toxic relationship, Medical content, Sexual content, Sexual violence, and Suicidal thoughts
