The Millionaire Next Door: The Surprising Secrets of America's Wealthy by Thomas J. Stanley

2.0

This was an interesting book that had some potentially useful advice and insight into how individuals who accumulate wealth function (although it is also dated, so that takes away from how reliable some of the information is.

Generally, I'm glad I listened to. That said, while I understand and agree with the idea of being frugal and learning how to spend and invest well, particularly where stuff is concerned (or visual markers of status), I take issue with the idea that travel is lumped into that, as I think travel is inherently more experiential and educational.
