He's Gone by Deb Caletti

3.0

This book started off great with "I used to imagine it sometimes, what would happen if one day I just didn't come home." It caught my attention, and the story and mystery behind it kept me going. I didn't know what happened until the very end. Which made this a read I didn't want to put down.

That said, the writing and story drug on in places where it really didn't need to. I zoned out a few times (I listened to this on audiobook) even though I did find the introspection interesting at times.
