I’m not a self proclaimed vampire lover, or a huge fan of anthologies — but I loved this collection! It made me realize how versatile vampire stories can be and I loved every one of the short stories. My favorites were Senior Year Sucks, The Guidebook for the Newly Sired Desi Vampire, Bestiary, & First Kill.
This book aimed to put diverse main characters at the heart of the vampire stories and it absolutely succeeded! There was Queer rep in almost all of them, disability rep, and more. I’ll be buying a copy of this for my shelves and recommend it to friends.
