I really enjoyed this book! The themes, characters, and romance were well done, and I appreciate that the author didn’t make the characters perfect. They struggled with real issues and found God in real ways. My only gripe was with the writing. There were parts that felt rushed or underdeveloped. I think that was the reason it took me so long to finish. There were times when I felt a strong disconnect with the writing and setting. But when the writing was done well, it was done really well.
