This book has some quite strong d/s elements and a fair amount of (regency era) politics. This may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it is a very interesting perspective and quite different from the first and third books in the series.
I really dislike the covers of the books.
Oh, also spoiler warning:there is a small section that includes misgendering of a (trans I think) character, which gets resolved in the story.
The resolution of conflict at the end is quite good and it leads well into the third book of the series, which I enjoyed quite a bit!

Moderate: Sexual violence
Minor: Deadnaming
