Frozen 2: Dangerous Secrets: The Story of Iduna and Agnarr by Mari Mancusi
4.0
This is a pretty solid prequel. Spoilers below, only if you haven't seen the Frozen movies.
Obviously, you know exactly where it will end up and the last few chapters are mostly snippets of the beginning of Frozen from their POV. But you know this going in, it's a backstory.
If you keep that it mind, it is a good read. It gives good depth of character to the parents you see for all of two minutes in the movies. I almost wish you would have been able to see them be actual characters in the movie, see them as actual parents trying their best and failing, miserably. It would explain Elsa's fear so much more. As well as make it more emotionally impactful that their deaths were from trying to help her in the second one.
