The End and Then delves into trauma recovery and romance, vulnerability, acceptance and trust and incorporating all into one emotionally gripping debut. Eden moves to Colorado to escape her past and try to build a new life-with her friend Zoey, her budding relationship with Chase, and her therapist, there to assist her. It was an unexpected surprise for the plot to have an emphasis on self-healing rather than featuring a spicy romance, which created an immersive and empathetic reading experience for me. I did however find myself wanting more relationship development between Eden and Chase, although Chase’s character was my favorite…he is so comforting, dependable and steady. The world needs more Chases. I now want to read every book this author has written and will surly be reading future releases. I’m
