The main character Vitoria is insincere, self-absorbed, pretentious, narcissistic even - all delicious characteristics that could have been further explored in this novel. There is some nice commentary on women's opportunity in society and the implication of class struggles. The book might have worked better as a short story. Inclusion of some characters like Dana feels redundant. I liked the ending though - it aligns well with Vitoria's roguish nature.

Edit: After discussion with a buddy reader, I can appreciate Dana's inclusion in the story, hehe.
