Breaking The Chains by Janine Infante Bosco

4.0

Breaking the Chains is Book two in the Satan's Knights Prospect trilogy. It has interconnecting characters but is a complete standalone.

Bishop has not been a good man and he's been a pretty lousy father to his young son, Connor, too. But when Connor whispers for help, Bishop's instincts kick in and he finds that he'll do anything to protect his son, even kill the man who's hurt him. Charlotte has always been the good girl, always done what's right. But one glimpse of Bishop and Connor and she knows she'll do anything to protect them even if it means doing something bad.

Oh...these two! They tore my heart up! Bishop was a bad, bad boy (but in the best way). Yet, his character
drew me into the pages right from the beginning. His enigmatic and charming ways easily had me rooting for him. Ms. Bosco did another fantastic job of having the characters evolve and grow into people you'd want to be friends with. I adored how sweet Bishop was with Charlotte but more, I loved how he become a father to Connor and not just a sperm donor. Charlotte seemed like a little mouse in the beginning but the mama bear quickly emerged and it was so cool watching her transition into the strong woman at the end.

Besides all that sexy goodness, it was so fun to spend some time with a few of my favorite past characters! #PropertyofParrish Told from dual POVs with a happy ever after. I voluntarily read and reviewed this Book.
