Ok. So I judged this book by its cover so hard and it has been sitting in my TBR for over a year - it was given to me by a friend and I’ve just been letting it sit.

What finally got me to read it was that the spinner app I have to tell me my next read off my TBR landed on this one. I was still dragging my feet but then I finally read the back and realized that it took place in Utah and I am a sucker for books that take places I have been and/or live/lived. Lol. I’m a simple girl.

So I read the description and I’m like ok, this is a chill book - thought it was YA, but saw it was contemporary romance - ok cool - this will probably be 2/3 pepper, probably closed door or mild spice. No big deal. A cutie lil romance is never a bad thing in my book.

Well, color me surprised when I was listening to the book one night minding my business and playing my game as I usually do while listening and boom our main characters are getting hit and heavy in a tent in the middle of Moab. They have to share. Rent due to another mishap (yeah I know I should have seen it coming after that point, but sometimes I’m not that smart lol)

I digress. Lol. I actually really liked the plot - I hate the third act breakup but that’s romance for you and honestly that last part thee me, but there was a sound ending and I’m happy with how it ended.

4 stars, 3 peppers.
