Stumbled upon this book on my shelf in the midst of a reading slump. Well, it sure did get me right out of it!
Despite the light-hearted narrative the novel deals with pretty serious topics, the characters get into really life-threatening situations and some scenes will help animal lovers pretty hard. The plot dragged only a little (Chet, the narrator, is quite prone to rambling and drifting off during important events), but the story still kept me on edge.
Overall a solid good book and I'm looking forward to the rest of the series!
