My seventeen years have collapsed and buried me from the inside out. My legs feel full of sand and stapled together, my mind overflowing with grains of indecision, choices unmade and impatient as time runs out of my body.

"If you do not understand your opponent—or worse, if you underestimate your opponent—you are going to lose.”

🤌🤌🤌

Can we talk abt how Adam is SO damn smart? (view spoiler)

Is it just me or did others face the fear of Warner taking a liking to someone else other than Juliette-e.g. Alia-too? 🤭

Also, the dynamic between Kenji and almost everyone is just- 🤌

Kenji clears his throat. “J, I think you should switch spots with me.”
“Why?”
“I think your boyfriend is touching my leg.”
“You flatter yourself,” Warner says.
“Switch spots with me, J. He’s making me feel all goosebumpy and shit, like maybe he’s about to knife me.”

P.S. This is probably THE BEST book in this series! ✨
