The Sacrifice by Shantel Tessier
5.0
I am speechless. This is the best to far in the series.
If you read my review for The Ritual and The Sinner, you'll know how The Sinner was a bit off and I wasn't gonna continue the series because of it. However, I was in need of dark romance and I continued. I wasn't expecting much because of The Sinner, but let me tell you when my jaw dropped and giggled.
If you like hard rough love, light manipulation, degradadation, humiliation, you want to get punished but you don't want to say i do want it, if you like scary handsome man that wants to do bad things to you and you want them to without being "oh yes please hurt me" out loud but yes deep down, this book is for you.
This will be in my shelf and I had this feeling when I read Sovereign. I love this book.
I also love how Ryat is always there for Tyson like how Tyson always there for Ryat. Some scenes with Sin and Blakely, Ellie also so cute and they are just such a buddy.
The only point I don't really enjoy or found it confusing was the timeline. Something happened in day X, he got home, and talked to her, and he left, then she left the house, and said "oh, it's been x days". I mean, he just left and that thing happened on the same day, how is it x days since already?
And another one, the whole book was such a bliss. I love it, if you want porn, this is it. It's not some pretty literature and oh plot blablabla, this is to make you feel dirty and want to be a whore for Tyson. However, when it got to the end (70% ish) a problem came up and it took em 10% to resolve it, so I'd say it's a bit rushed, and again confusing since they don't say who is who when a character get caught or showed up, so you have to just continue and then they will reveal at the end. It's kinda interesting, but you have to think, not just some easy porn.
If I can give more stars, or SuperStar (like Super Like on tinder) I would. This book and Sovereign, and Credence.
