This is a quirky little book that's part fable and all heart. I love Iveys description of nature, seasons and weather as essential characters in the book.
Her descriptions are clear and concise and heartwarming at the same time.
If you can buy the narrative laid out in the first 60 pages you're in for a splendid treat.
I absolutely wish this one was around when my kids were in 5th and 6th grade. It would have been a great thing to share as a family.
