I had so much fun reading the first book in this series, and Prime Deceptions absolutely continued that trend. These books are like Becky Chambers' Wayfarers series combined with The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, with a smattering of Mass Effect. And in this one, there's even Pokémon! Well, of a sort. The found family vibes of the crew are so wonderful, and the universe they inhabit is so diverse and deep. Prime Deceptions is super fun, genuinely funny, and full of diversity to boot!
