Agatha Christie has led people to assume all British mystery novels are good and its just not true. I never guess the outcome of mystery novels but this one was so predictable and boring. There were too many characters,  not one had a real personality beyond smug. The naval officer was an idiot and plot cumbersome. How are other authors calling this clever? The ending was fine but definitely not noteworthy or interesting enough to warrant and 2nd read.
