taboo uncle niece relationship - he met her once when she was 4

She got bullied really hard for having have speech apraxia (that seemed to be more obvious when she was nervous) and her “R”s come out as “w”s and the book opens with Ashley telling her that she should kill herself and dumping chocolate milk on her saying “that’s where the trash goes” after her dad died she moved into her uncles house but had to change schools since it was out of district and she runs into Ashley again and Ashley tries to talk Brooklyn into being friends and kept going on about how she made a mistake and that it was a really messed up thing for her to do in that. She really wants to apologize and make amends, but kept doing things that kind of put her in a shitty situation and to finish and top it off went to Brooklyn’s house under the confidence of saying that she was going to make her toast since she wasn’t feeling well and she ended up live streaming her journal which showed and talked about in explicit detail her sexual relationship with her uncle and Ashley ended up giving her knives and on the live stream a loser challenge she gave her knives and kept pressuring her to kill yourself and told her that she should just kill herself and went on and on about it, and Brooklyn ended up not dying, but she did end up losing her baby that she was not aware of due to blood and add allowed to Brooklyn to press charges against Ashley since in the state of California it is a felony charge to push someone into committing suicide, and she involuntarily killed somebody as well. The judge in the case also lost his son to this same live streaming challenge, where his son had a successful suicide, and he was the one to find him so he decided that Ashley was going to get the furthest extent of punishment that she can under the law, and so she gave her a life sentence with no ability of parole.
