Still Alice by Lisa Genova

5.0

I was amazed by this book. I loved that the author chose a third person perspective, but told from the viewpoint of the Alzheimer's patient. It really tapped into the emotions of this situation so beautifully. I cringed at the embarrassing situations that Alice found herself in, and definitely teared up at her brief moments of clarity towards the end of the book. Very touching, and I'm sure painful for those who have had to watch someone suffer through the disease, which I have not had to yet, fortunately.
