Sorry I'm Late, I Didn't Want to Come by Jessica Pan

funny informative reflective slow-paced

This isn't what I was expecting but I suppose she had to put herself in contrived situations in order to make sure she had something to write about. I was expecting more humorist essays about trying to extrovert in regular life situations but instead it's more like a series of social experiments contrived by the author so she could explore her mental health crisis and have something to write about. I'm an introvert but I don't see how forcing oneself to do stand up comedy is necessary. I get that it was her personal "bucket list of extrovertedness" but it was really awkward and strange.
