I have watched A Christmas Carol around the holidays numerous times (on stage and on television - mainly the 2009 animated film). I have always enjoyed the story, but I had yet to actually sit down and read it until now. I feel like I had a better experience reading this book because I already knew the story, and I was able to picture it in my head due to the adaptations being very accurate.
I gave this story a 4.5 stars because the ending makes me smile and fills my heart with genuine happiness. This book is definitely the type that I could re-read every Christmas and enjoy immensely.
