Being back with the Changelings and the Psy's is like coming home. I loved being back with the Bears as well. The cameos from past favorites (Silver, Arwen, Kaleb, Valetin) were fantastic.
Theo and Yakov are paired together when Theo needs to investigate a discovered center. This Center has far-reaching implications for Theo and for Yakov, even more so. He has been dreaming of Theo, and he needs to know why.
Theo was so innocent and curious but strong. Her backstory was harsh, but I loved seeing her strength in spite of the actions of others. Yakov was playful and caring; the perfect foil for Theo.
While low on action from the overarching story, we get glimpses of what is to come.
