Malice by Keigo Higashino
5.0
5 stars. i felt compelled to read this one as a Higashino fan and a Vancouverite, and truthfully Higashino never misses and i was immediately drawn in -- enough to finish this book in one sitting!
the perspectives between the two characters, Kunihiko and Osamu, paint interestingly, oft-conflicting pictures of one another that keep you guessing between the two of them. are you likely to come up with a different theory based on who you trust more at any given time? very likely: that was my experience with the read, and it was delightful to follow alongside as the plot progressed.
