The Walking Dead, Vol. 2: Miles Behind Us by Robert Kirkman

4.0

I'll start out with my gripes, because I don't have many. First, I had difficulty with a couple of the women who I occasionally got confused. I think that was probably due to their slight similarity in appearance and the fact that they spend a lot of the time as background/support. My second gripe was the children, who at several points seemed drawn to look just like miniature adults, especially their faces. It was slightly jolting.

Everything else was great. I love how despite being a zombie book, this story is so much about the characters and how they're coping. In this volume our travelers run into another small group of survivors and make their way via a gated suburb to a farm that seems well defended and well stocked. People die, people go crazy, zombies are slain.
