Two stars for plot, half a star for characters. A twisty book is one thing, but deliberately being vague at every opportunity is not clever, it's annoying. Having a character get interrupted during her 'important speech' scene three times in a row - in the same spot! - by a ringing phone, is beyond annoying. Dumb tricks like that obscured the actual key twists of the plot, and made the book less fun to read.
