Girls of Paper and Fire by Natasha Ngan
Did not finish book.
DNFed at 30%. Had high hopes for this one as I've heard so much about it but it was very underwhelming and if the reviews are anything to go by it continues on this way until the end. The characters, especially the main one, leave something to be desired. She doesn't feel unique at all but just a word to word copy of every teen in a YA about rebellion, ever. A book similar to this one plot wise but written beautifully is We Set The Dark On Fire by Tehlor Kay Mejia. One of the best books of 2019.
This is by no means meant to hate on the author and this is also NOT a bad book, maybe I'll pick it up again in the future. Just not for me.
