I loved this book dearly. I feel so much tenderness for Daunis. Everything about this was so well-constructed and portrayed. Looking at the meth crisis very specifically through Daunis's perspective as she tries to solve a mystery about how meth is being made and spread throughout her community renders an otherwise amorphous/overwhelming/massive crisis urgent and proximal.
Graphic: Domestic abuse, Rape, and Murder
Moderate: Drug abuse
