Iphigenia in Tauris by Euripides, Witter Bynner

4.0

I have not read a Euripides play I didn't absolutely love. His subtle exploration of the psychology of his characters, the irony he uses to convey the hypocrisy of the gods and his female characters that are impossible to forget...this mix makes him my favourite Greek playwright.
Iphigenia in Tauris was another great play of his and I can't wait to read Iphigenia in Aulis.
