I love a good enemies to lovers trope and this book had plenty of tension, morally grey characters and a little miscommunication trope thrown in too.
I liked the characters, especially Kera. Although shes a side character, she had great humor and wit. I did suspect certain characters from the very beginning, so I wasn't surprised at all when it was revealed who was targeting Roselyne.
I enjoyed the writing style, it flowed smoothly and helped keep the pacing consistent.
I liked the ending and I do look forward to reading the next book.
