What My Bones Know: A Memoir of Healing from Complex Trauma by Stephanie Foo

such an important perspective especially for asian americans. every chapter felt intentionally organized. i enjoyed stephanie’s clear voice throughout even the research sections. she is a great writer and she’s so strong for revisiting her trauma to tell her story. and i like that she acknowledged how trauma can come from generational trauma related to racism. the book is so singularly her; only she could tell it, and she did a really great job. this is going to help so many people!
