I've gotta admit, I started reading from chapter 15, the first spicy scene.
I'm not really into slow-burns and reading over 200 pages of fluff wasn't really my deal, I would've DNF'ed.
Other than that, the second half of the book honestly could be a stand-alone, I didn't feel like I missed anything in the plot. It's very fast-paced after she breaks up with her fiancè.
The characters are painfully millenial. Painfully. They're so cringy and 🤪 quirky 🤪 that I almost DNF'ed multiple times.
Spice is excellent. He's mostly dominant but lets her on top once. She enjoys the dominance. The sex is very emotional and heartfelt. There's about 6 smut scenes.
If you're into fast-paced smut, I'd start reading from chapter 14. If you're into slow-burns, I'd start reading from the beginning.
