The Murder of an Angel by Maxine Paetro, James Patterson

1.0

My understanding was that this was to be the fourth and final installment in the Confessions Series. Unfortunately, after reading it, I still believe that to be true and that is extremely disappointing. I had a hard time staying focused and intrigued while reading this installment while all the other books grabbed my attention and wouldn't let go. Everything seemed jumbled and rushed. Especially the ending. The conclusion just sort of came from no where and it wasn't satisfactory at all. None of the resolutions seemed fitting for how the rest of the series has gone. From Tandy's relationship with James to Katherine's reappearance (not to mention where her baby came from?) to Matty's downward spiral, it was all wrapped up sloppy if wrapped up at all. The only reason I hope that I'm wrong and there is another book is that it will be a chance at redemption for the series as a whole. Because I really did like the first three books so much!
