A Dangerous Fortune by Ken Follett

5.0

This book definitely follows the Follett-Formula.
Which I know some people are finding tired, but I still love it.
Its infuriating at times to watch the "good guy" get beaten down over and over again, while the villains continue to prosper, and of course I know the tables will eventually turn, but I'm still not tired of it.
Which I can only assume is a testament to Folletts writing, and story telling.
