The Revenge of Captain Vessia was a perfect piratey adventure! From the beginning to the end, I was rooting for Claire in her attempt to get revenge on Queen Amerita, the person who turned her into a vampire. The fact that Princess Moria (Amerita's daughter) joined the pirate cause was a much welcome addition. I loved seeing how Claire and Moria evolved throughout the story, both individually and as a pair. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys pirate adventures with queer representation!
