VII: Seven by Lana Sky

As this series continues, my love for dark romance comes out. There are times that this kind of story just intrigues me, not because of the violent behavior, but because of how people react to different circumstances. This book does just that and I am completely immersed in Ellen and Mischa's story.
It picks up right where we left off in book 1, and the abuse Ellen takes from Mischa continues. Though not loyal to her husband, she refuses to give any information to Mischa. She is a strong woman, and that is one of the things that I find fascinating. We also see a turn in Mischa. With the start of this abusive relationship, all I could do was dislike the man. But now there are hints of light and I am curious to see how Ellen's presence changes him. The cliffhanger s surprising and leaving me to want the next book! Things are about to change, secrets revealed and all the questions I want answered will hopefully come out.

Caitlyn Allgood Knight is nailing the narration. Each character, each accent, each scene is filled with either horror or emotional pulls that kept me on the edge. She is fantastic and can't wait to see what she has coming up.
