I really enjoyed reading this though I knew the story already and have seen the film version. I think knowing what was going to happen made the reading experience more tense and addictive, and it was a really good novel even without the fact it was made into a famous movie / TV show. The representation of women was a bit stale and some of the ‘normal’ characters are one-dimensional and stereotypical but I suppose that’s because one particular character is the focus of this story.
Moderate: Blood, Death, Murder, Sexism, Suicide, Toxic relationship, and Violence
