Gender Queer: A Memoir by Maia Kobabe

4.0

Undeniably addicting and beautifully honest. I feel that this book will hold as one of my favorite graphics novels of all time. Informative on the many queer-ies (get it? Like queer but question- okay forget it) of those who don't conform to their gender at birth, and addressed issues and conversations queer people must go through in order to survive.

I hope young queer kids can read this, and feel less and less alone in their perfect, valid identity.
(Doesn't hurt that I loved the art style! So cute!)
