The Princess and the Scoundrel by Beth Revis

Rating: D
DNF at 60%
- Waaaaaaaay too many hads
- Drags on while also being incredibly bloated
- Plot doesn't get going until 50%, arguably 60%
- Too many ellipsis and interruptions
- Initial idea of Leia and Han going on a honeymoon as buoying the Rebellion's victory is a great idea, but that's about it here.
- The ice planet's prime minister is almost certainly under Imperial surveillance, as Leia directly acknowledges. One chapter later, she pesters him about aligning with the Rebellion/New Republic, and gets angry when he rebuffs her.
- Booooooooooooooring
Han and Leia's characterization was good, I guess. What happened, Beth Revis? Rebel Rising was way better. I appreciated the Thane Kyrell appearance. Thank you for reminding me of a much better book.
