Secluded Cabin Sleeps Six by Lisa Unger

5.0

I love friend group messy drama. This book has that in spades. These characters are simultaneously great and incredibly unlikable… How she manage that I have no idea, but I loved it. Aside from the actual bad dudes that do bad things I loved this group and their dynamic. Messy, messy, messy! This is told in multiple pov, LOVE that! Helps really bring the full perspective to the story.

We have three couples, Hannah and her husband, Bruce, her brother Mako and his wife Liza, and then Hannah’s bestie Cricket and her new beau Joshua… all spending the weekend at this gorgeous cabin with amazing amenities, with Mako generously footing the bill…

A storm is brewing, but that isn’t the only thing coming. Individuals with a solid plan to break up everything Hannah and her family has are approaching and it’s a fight for their lives to make it through the weekend.

This book went places I wasn’t expecting at all. There was some really far-fetched plot points but it literally ALL worked for me so freaking well. The twists, the turns, the betrayal and lies and secrets… this all propelled me into such a fun reading experience with a first time (for me) author.
