The Awakening, by Kate Chopin

4.0

I have not read the short stories that also belong to this edition.

When it comes to the novel, I must say that I found it truly interesting. I believe that the main character's role truly illustrates that rebellion that distinguishes the concept of the New Woman.
I am using this for my final dissertation and there are many things that lead me to ponder upon Feminism.
Perhaps what I enjoyed the least is the fact that the action goes so slowly at the beginning.

All in all, I have enjoyed it!
