Emotionally, this book is a 5⭐️ read. However I didn’t find any of the characters particularly likable until the last 75% of the book, that’s really when Red’s narration stopped slightly irritating me.

But wow. I loved this. It kept me up at night. It was a rollercoaster of emotions, at first when the main reveal of who had the secret came out and what it was about, I felt it was too predictable and anticlimactic, but Holly Jackson wasn’t done there! I’m so glad I picked this one up. And the ending was phenomenally executed, in my opinion.

A few more spoiler things that keep me from rating a full 5 stars:
characters were pretty one dimensional, Oliver was such a stereotypical character lol, however I can’t hate too much. This is a YA book and if it were a horror movie would probably work out despite it being a flaw

im lowkey like red because why didn’t I hate arthur even though he caused all that? Probably  because I didn’t care about any of the characters enough- but yeah kinda is an odd writing choice making red still feel warm towards him? But at the same time I understand it. So yeah, not too big of a complaint
